Each object leaving our studio undergoes a transformation from raw form to a luminous work of art. It is a journey that cannot be rushed.
01. Preparing the Foundation
Gold is unforgiving—it highlights every flaw. That is why the first stage demands absolute precision: hours of sanding, degreasing, and applying specialized primers. We create a perfectly smooth "skin" for the object, forming a flawless base for the precious metal.
02. The Architecture of Adhesion
Before the brilliance appears, we apply a layer of mixtion—a noble size (adhesive) that must reach the perfect "tack" or mordant. This is the precise moment when the gold permanently bonds with the surface. We wait for that one right second, measured by experience, not by a clock
03. The Gilding (The Breath of Gold)
The most breathtaking moment. Leaves of 24-karat gold, thinner than a human hair, are transferred using a squirrel-hair brush. A single stray breath could ruin the work, so the studio remains in absolute silence and focus. The gold settles, creating a unique, inimitable texture.
04. Tempering the Glow
Gold must be preserved. Depending on the design, we burnish it with agate for a mirror-like shine or protect it with dedicated varnishes that shield the metal from the passage of time, preserving its depth for decades.
